The scope of Réjean Ducharme 's words, magnificently interpreted and set to music by Robert Charlebois from the end of the 60s, gave birth to eternal pieces, among the most beautiful titles of Quebec song. A meeting inseparable from the immensity of their respective repertoires, the fusion of two minds which complement each other like no other.
Recorded in Montreal in winter 2021, this new album will make you (re)discover the magic that unites the two artists through 13 texts by Ducharme and their melodies revisited by Charlebois. Directed by Gus van Go and Daniel Lacoste , “ Charlebois à Ducharme ” highlights the warm and solid voice of the timeless Robert Charlebois , supported by rich acoustic arrangements on each of the tracks, from the most poetic ballad to songs that move. A result masterfully delivered thanks to a precious collaboration with his faithful musicians, Dominique Lanoie , Steve Gagné , Vincent Réhel and Daniel Lacoste .
