Izzy-S is an artist with a melodious flow and a rhyme that is both “street” and thoughtful. Originally from Haiti, he grew up in Montreal in the Saint-Michel district. His original neighborhood is his source of inspiration. His pen takes on the role of spokesperson for the young people of his neighborhood. Already at the age of 15, he stood out with the song DopeBoy. Despite his young age, he is already considered a must-have in the world of French rap in Quebec. Several validations by big names like Youssoufa, Gradur, Gato da Bato and recently his invitation to the first Quebec show of Rentre dans le Cercle (Le Cercle) hosted by Sofiane.
A hard worker, Izzy-S takes no rest, to the delight of his fans. Since 2014, his fans have tirelessly followed the chapters “Dopeboy part 1, 2, 3 and 4” where you can find Gradur in a cameo in the 4th part. In March 2017, he released Bando, Vol. 1 which achieved enormous success with titles like “Ma melody” and “La rue”. Shortly before Christmas 2017, Izzy-S surprised his fans with LMOLM (Death or Music), an opus of 17 songs which allows listeners to have a more personal perception of the artist because several events in his life contributed in writing this project. Among other things, an attempted murder, when he received 4 bullets in the body in May 2017 (Journal de Montréal). After his convalescence, he demonstrated his strength of mind and all the positivism that engenders through his music with the classic “Grandi dans la rue” (YouTube)
