BIOGRAPHY
The artist Marc Babin, originally from Saint-Ignace in southeastern New Brunswick, presents his 3rd album entitled “A New Beginning”. His musical career began in 2003 with the formation Bo-Tyme. Since then, the singer-songwriter has accompanied numerous artists in performance and on tour, including Suroit, Hert LeBlanc, 1755, Laurie LeBlanc, Paul Dwayne, Scott and Gerald Delhunty, Rhéal LeBlanc and many others.
The album has a flavor of country-western music with a touch of traditional Acadian. “A New Beginning” is an album of original songs, as well as two songs recorded as a duet with singers Paul Hébert and Gerald Delhunty. Marc Babin surrounded himself with musicians such as; Ray Légère (violin), Marcel Léger (drums), Stéphane Déraspe (keyboard), Mike Bourque (electric guitar), André Coco McGraw (pedal steel), Richard Bourque (mandolin), Marc Léger (bass). He is also accompanied by Paul Hébert, Gerald Delhunty and Serge LeBlanc on vocals.
