After having delighted young and old with the eponymous album “ Maria Cannelloni ” and the EP “ Le Tourne-Fêtes ”, both nominated in the Youth category at ADISQ, the colorful conductor now gives us “ Joyeux flocons ” , a warm and comforting album to liven up winter evenings and experience the holiday season to the fullest.
The album produced by Louis-Philippe Amiot includes 13 songs, 10 original pieces including a revisited version of “ Petit papa Noël ”, a medley of Christmas classics and a slightly crazy French adaptation of “ God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen ".
The character of Maria Cannellon i was created by the musician Geneviève Levasseur in 2015. Her world is made up of her friends, the chef Romano, the acrobat mouse Billie and the gluttonous dog Cloche-Pied. Since 2019, the actress and singer Aurélie Morgane has played the character of Maria Cannelloni , both on record and on stage.
